Where are the critical articles?

I'm astounded at the lack of news articles critical of Hampton Inn or the hotel industry in general. As in my experience of trying to buy www.hamptoninnsucks.com, oops sorry, it belongs to Hampton Inn, who conveniently take you back to their corporate page, there appears to be a systematic attempt by corporations to eliminate any possible negative discussion of their products.
I'm sure there was a brave fellow or lass who bought hamptoninnsucks.com with the intention of providing a forum for thought to run free. I speculate that this brave soul was quickly offered $10,000 or so to transfer ownership to Hampton Inn. Seriously, go to www.hamptoninnsucks.com and see. It's surreal.
I noticed while carousing the Hampton Inn corporate site that they offer discounts to journalists to stay at the hotel. If you agree to write about Hampton Inn, you get to stay free! The page states that the company in no way requires positive press for providing the free rooms. Give me a break. I would love to see a few of the negative articles that resulted from stays at the Inn that Blows!
Way to buy the good press Hampton Inn. You BLOW!

more Beatles

I've found a short excerpt from another blogger who sums up my feelings on the use of a Beatles song. The title is appropriately, Hampton Cringe.

Or maybe this happy customer.

Hey Hampton Inn . . . you BLOW!
